This weekend I attended a bachelorette party honoring the beautiful lady pictured above, my sister Megan. Friday night we enjoyed delicious Mexican Martinis at Trudy's. Saturday night we dined at Ten Oak (yum!) and then partied the night away on 6th Street. Everyone at the party wore fascinators and we got quite a lot of attention.On Sunday we revived our bodies and minds with Don Juans around the table at Juan in a Million. I'm happy to say the tacos are as mouth-wateringly good as I remember them to be. Then we went kayaking on Town Lake. We did not run into the supposed turtle monster who bites like an alligator. We did meet a talking bird and saw ducks running on the water (very cute).
I had a blast at Megan's last hoorah and judging from all the pics I have of the weekend, she did too! Now it's time for the wedding!!
PS - Must give a special shout out to Sarah Dooley for letting us stay at Hotel Dooley on Saturday night - the girls loved the house and especially loved Luna.
